Sparsholt was recommended to me by my mentor as offering good quality football and education. I came to visit and liked it straight away – the football pitches and gym set-up really stood out.

I have enjoyed meeting new people here – living on site is a good life experience and the accommodation is very friendly.

The tutors are helpful and supportive and I enjoy the work, learning new skills.

Playing in the FA Youth Cup is a really good experience. Our coach put me forward for a trial for the England School Boys team and I made it through to the final squad. We have played against Australia, and went on a tour of Holland where we won all our games.

Sparsholt has helped me by keeping me fit with a good training schedule, as well as lots of support and motivation to keep going. My dream is to become a professional player and my advice is always believe in yourself, have patience and work hard. I am much more confident now and am so happy and grateful to get to where I want to be.
