Being here is a big difference from school because you get to experience what it’s like in the workplace and get ready for a job, which will be soon to come. After college I want to ideally become a head keeper on an estate. Sparsholt have really upped my skill levels. I would recommend Sparsholt highly to everyone because it makes you work ready

My name is Josh, I’m studying Level 3 Game at Sparsholt.

I chose Sparsholt because I’ve had a lot of good recommendations about it and how it’s producing good keepers over the previous years and it’s really good because I think they try to get you really hands-on experience and not just all the theory and just sitting in the classroom all the time, and this really suits me because I’m a bit more practical learner and it’s a big difference from school because you get to experience what it’s like in the workplace and gets you ready for a job which will be soon to come.

My three week work placement has just come to an end which is really interesting for me. I learned a lot of things and I’ve got a lot of practical work that I haven’t done before and I’ve also got to use some of the stuff I’ve been learning at college out in the estate which is really useful.

After college I want to ideally become a head keeper on an estate. I think Sparsholt have really upped my skill levels, the social side at Sparsholt is really good it’s a really nice community because you’re with people who can relate to what you want to do we’re all aiming for the same objectives and we help each other.
