Future plans: to study Agricultural Business Management at the University of Reading next year
“I chose to study at Sparsholt as I have always had a love for the outdoors and the countryside. I originally came to visit with the idea of becoming a Veterinary Nurse, but immediately fell in love with the cows and the tractors and decided that Agriculture was the best route for me.
I have loved every minute of my time at Sparsholt. From milking cows to driving tractors, every aspect has captivated me and inspired me to work hard and achieve good grades. I think I have enjoyed the social aspect of college life the most, as I have made some good friends that I hope to stay in touch with in the future.
The teaching at the College has been outstanding, and supported me throughout my journey. Because of this, I feel confident and ready to go to university and achieve a good result. The facilities at the College farm are also outstanding, and reflect what is expected to be found on a real farm. All of the machinery is maintained to the highest of standards and is very current.
I hope to gain a place at the University of Reading next year to study Agricultural Business Management. Sparsholt has given me the vital knowledge and practical skills that I will need to achieve this.”
