National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2023 is the 16th annual celebration of apprenticeships.

The week provides an opportunity for Sparsholt College Group to celebrate the achievement of its apprentices and to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is ‘Skills for Life’. The week allows Sparsholt College Group to reflect on how apprenticeships can support in developing a talented workforce that are prepared with skills for the future and how they help individuals to develop the knowledge and skill required for a rewarding career.

We would like to encourage everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help to provide #SkillsForLife. Join us by hearing from some of our apprentices and employers, attend one of our virtual Q&A sessions or watch our myth busters to get involved with why apprenticeships provide the #SkillsForLife.

Hear from our apprenticeships team debunking many myths about apprenticeships:

“I am now a Patient Care Assistant within a veterinary practice and will be working towards becoming a Veterinary Nurse. This apprenticeship allowed me to rediscover my love for all animals, even those I had never really been around before.” – Eleanor, Animal Care & Welfare Assistant Apprentice

“I’d highly recommend doing an arborist apprenticeship at Sparsholt College. It’s brilliant because you’re learning the theory side of college from tree identification to legislation, but also earning money and learning practical skills.” – Jamie, Apprentice Tree Surgeon
