An apprenticeship is a real job, with real training, meaning you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
As an apprentice you will work alongside experienced staff and gain job specific skills.
After finishing, the majority of apprentices (90%) stay in employment (including 2% self-employed), with seven in ten (71%) staying with the same employer:
Apprenticeships are available to anyone over the age of 16, living in England. There are different entry requirements depending on the sector and job.
All apprenticeships include elements of on the job and off the job training leading to industry recognised standards or qualifications. All apprenticeships also require an assessment at the end of the programme to assess your ability and competence in your job role.
There are a number of ways in which you can apply for an Apprenticeship.
Sparsholt College advertise their vacancies on GOV.UK. There are a variety of Apprenticeship vacancies available online in a variety of careers and industries.
