Our second year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture students have been busy building CLAAS implements as part of their Machinery option.

Lecturer Nick Bevan spoke to CLAAS, a German company who manufacture agricultural machinery, about the possibility of students making up some of their products from crates of parts and they were happy to get involved.

The students have already finished a CLAAS Liner 370 which is a rake for harvesting grass to use as hay, silage and haylage. They are now working on a CLAAS Volto 52 which is used for spreading grass.
