Our Level 1 Animal Care students recently travelled to the Isle of Wight for a study tour. Taking place from Friday to Sunday, the tour saw the group take in Owl and Monkey Haven, Borthwood Copse, Isle of Wight Zoo, Haven Falconry, Alum Bay, Amazon World and the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.
The trip was educational and directly linked to the syllabus the group are studying. Students had a workbook to complete over the course of the weekend which will be used as evidence towards their qualification. The trip was a big success and enjoyed by all the students and staff.
