Sparsholt College and University Centre Sparsholt (UCS) are excited to welcome students back to campus and online for the first Open Event of the academic year.
Students interested in joining Sparsholt College’s further education offering in September 2022 will have the option of signing up to a live online Q&A session with the College Principal Julie Milburn and Assistant Principals Laura Black and Mark Treagust on Tuesday October 5 at 6.30pm.
Students who would like to explore Sparsholt’s 450-acre countryside campus can sign up to subject-specific tours running throughout the day on Saturday October 9. These tours will give students the chance to explore Sparsholt’s industry-standard facilities including the brand new £2.5 million Animal Health and Welfare Research Centre, have questions answered by the expert tutors, and find out more about the leading land-based courses on offer at the College.
Support teams and student ambassadors will also be on hand to help answer any queries about studying at Sparsholt such as transport, funding, careers, learning support and accommodation as well as Industry Placements and Apprenticeships.
University Centre Sparsholt will also be holding an Open Event on Saturday October 9 for students interested in joining their specialist higher education courses, ranging from undergraduate to master’s level, on offer at Sparsholt. Degree-specific tours will be running during the day around the campus with friendly Higher Education student and faculty staff on hand, and a live online Q&A session with the Dean of Higher Education Caroline James and Vice Principal for HE Matthew Norris-Hill will be held at 2pm.

“We’re so excited to open Sparsholt’s doors once again to students interested in joining us in September 2022. Our subject-specific tours will give students a fantastic glimpse into what life is like as a Sparsholt student, in the safest way possible for the Sparsholt community.
We had such a brilliant response to our Live Online Open Events held over the last year and understand not everybody will be able to join us in person this time around. So, we’re delighted to be able to offer an online option for students and parents to still have their questions answered. Alongside a suite of interactive online content such as guided and 360-degree facility tours, we hope students feel excited to raise their aspirations and advance their futures at Sparsholt.”
