What will I learn?
You will learn how to care for and look after a range of animals, from housing and feeding requirements, to handling, behaviour, health and exercise. You will learn the theory behind the what, when, why and how and then carry this out in practical sessions.
Assignments are all completed under supervised conditions and must be done without the use of the internet or external support. There are also 2 online multiple choice exams that must be passed. You will be offered the opportunity for a residential to either the New Forest or the Isle of Wight as well as day trips to see different zoological collections.
