Most employers, colleges and universities are now asking for a
minimum of a GCSE grade C/4 and above in English and Maths,
which is why at Sparsholt, we ensure you work towards achieving this as part of your course. This will be through either GCSE or Functional Skills classes in maths and/or English depending on your prior qualifications at school.
If you do not have a GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths, you will be required to continue towards achieving these qualifications at College.
All of the courses benefit from online support from tutors and peers, with some on-site courses and apprenticeships being delivered in our new risual Microsoft Academy!
If you’re looking to improve your English and Maths on a part-time course, Functional Maths and Functional English are available at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2. Not only will they bring your skills up to scratch, these courses will give you a qualification recognised by employers.
