Craig Mcdonald, FdSc and Registered Veterinary NurseSparsholt has an excellent provision for teaching and training Veterinary Nurses.
Our teaching staff bring experience and expertise in all areas of animal work including veterinary nursing, health and welfare work as well as animal training. The Animal Management Centre is stocked with a diverse and extensive range of animals that allows you to develop your practical animal handling and husbandry skills.
The on-site, purpose built veterinary nursing approved centre has up-to-date technology and equipment as required by the RCVS. Excellent veterinary industry links and associations with a large number of RCVS Approved Training Veterinary Practices in the south of England makes Sparsholt the place to study a Veterinary Nursing course.
“I hold a BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing Science and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2007 (NVQ 3) and am a registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS. I also hold a City and Guild Certificate in the nursing of exotic species.”
