Our Outdoor Education students have been enjoying an active December. A weekend 3 Star White Water trip didn’t go completely to plan as the water levels on the Saturday were extremely high leaving the party unable to kayak. All was not lost as the group diverted to The Boardroom, Queensferry for a bouldering (climbing) session. The conditions had improved by Sunday, allowing for a paddle session out on the water.
Our first years then spent Tuesday at Knightbridge Leisure Centre on the BMX track. They learnt to ‘pump’ their bikes and use berms, and the sunshine made for a glorious December biking session.
