Current BSc (Hons) Equine Science student
I’ve always had an interest in horses and started riding at the age of 11. I considered other colleges, but decided to pursue my passion for horses by studying at Sparsholt and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The Diploma course gave me so much knowledge and experience, as well as the opportunity to compete. I enjoyed my time so much at Sparsholt that I decided to progress onto the degree programme here.
The close-knit community of Sparsholt was a winner from the start and has really aided my learning. The facilities are great too and I’ve had the chance to use a lot of high-tech lab equipment on the degree course. I’ve found my BSc really interesting and it has developed my knowledge. The opportunity for work experience in the first year was incredible – I spent a month at an equine rescue and rehabilitation centre in Bristol.
