What will I learn?

This qualification prepares learners to become Early Years Educators and enable them work with children between birth and 5 years with knowledge of children up to the age seven in a variety of Early Years settings such as nurseries, preschools and as child minders.

Entry Requirements

You will need to be working or volunteering in a preschool/nursery setting for a minimum of 14 hours a a week to complete this qualification

Free if aged 19+ and dont have a FULL L3 or above or unemployed or have a gross salary income (excl benefits) below £25,000* otherwise Advanced Learning Loan available

*19+ on 31/8 in academic year course starts. Includes those who are employed, self-employed, unemployed, not employed. Please contact the College for further information on gross salary income (excl benefits) below £25,000 funding eligibility.

All fee remission is subject to availability of Government funding at the start date of a course and eligibility criteria.

Please Note

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started their course.
