What will I learn?

Would you like greater confidence in applying for jobs? This workshop will help you to identify the type of job to which you are suited, and to develop your job application skills. It will include time to practice interview techniques

You will be sent some short pre-course preparation, to help you get the most from the day.

This course is totally bespoke but learning outcomes could include the following:

  • Identify the kind of job you want
  • Articulate what a potential employer is looking for
  • Identify a range of job search approaches
  • Prepare for an interview
  • Perform effectively at an interview
  • Consider how to follow up on an interview, and invite feedback

    It may be possible to modify content to meet individual needs after discussion with the trainer

    This course will help you in applying for jobs.

    You might also like to attend some of our Personal Development and Business Skills courses or accredited training courses, to enhance your knowledge in topics relevant to your career ambitions.

    Please Note

    All fees are correct at the current time and may be subject to change. Any fee remission information quoted is correct at the current time but is dependent on government legislation and is subject to change. Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
