We love to welcome potential students to our beautiful countryside campus and this year we’ve run more open events than ever before! Every year we review our events to make sure we’re showcasing our facilities and learning opportunities to all our future students in the best way for them. For example, we have run Countryside Day, a day out for families, for several years, but it wasn’t getting to young people at the right time to help them make decisions about their future careers, so we decided to cancel it and renew our events calendar.
New for 2019 we are launching an exciting interactive event for local school pupils in Years 8 and 9 who have been specifically invited with their teachers. Pupils will visit our campus with their schools to see the exciting science and technology careers on offer in the sectors we serve. Pupils will see our tutors and students teaching and learning using our fantastic facilities such as The Sir Mark Todd Rider Performance Studio. They’ll also be introduced to technological innovation in industry by exhibitors who will help students imagine where their studies could take them in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you to future events and invite anyone considering a course – be that a 16-19 year old looking for a full-time course or an apprenticeship, adults wishing to study part-time course, or those wishing to pursue one of our TEF Gold standard degrees, to take a look at what we offer, visit us and apply – we’re looking forward to meeting you.
