Offering a wide range of equine courses in our impressive BHS approved Equine Centre, the equine studies department at Sparsholt has been rated as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in 2014. Offering BTECs, Degrees and Masters options – students have the opportunity to learn with and from the best. We have three outdoor arenas, a large indoor arena, horse-walker, cross country training route, have been awarded British Dressage Venue of the Year for two consecutive years and played host to the Australian Paralympic Equestrian team for pre-training for the 2012 Olympics. Undergraduate and postgraduate students work with the industry to complete research using our onsite equipment such as ‘Pegasus’ for gait analysis. Foundation degree, Bachelor degree and Master’s degree students benefit from the extensive knowledge of our expert lecturing staff as they conduct research of their own to share with the HE community.
