The best way for year 10/11 learners to find out about Sparsholt is to experience it for themselves! At our Open Events you can tour our amazing facilities and get a real taste of our courses. Meet our friendly students and expert staff, find out about transport, finance, learning support, accommodation, and get to know us!
Additional Guests are more than welcome to come along however, please just book one ticket for each prospective student attending. Anyone else attending does not need to buy a ticket.

Explore our 183 Hectare countryside campus from the comfort of your own home with our Online Tour! By scanning across the campus, zooming in to and clicking on different buildings, you can take a look at the wide variety of workshops, equipment, and much more that Sparsholt has to offer.
There are no course fees for students enrolling at the College if they are an EU citizen and under 19 when your full-time course begins. However, for others who have to pay for their courses, we know that Money Matters and offer many different Finance and Funding options.

Each year, 400 students make our countryside campus their term-time home in our on-site accommodation, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Students come from all over the UK and the South – so whether you’re from Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire or much further afield you’ll find a friendly and welcoming term time home at Sparsholt.

Students travel to Sparsholt College from all over the region, so we aim to make the journey as easy and cost effective as possible. Whether you’re getting the train from Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton or Basingstoke or the bus from across Hampshire and the county borders, we’ll help you find the best way to get into College.

At Sparsholt College we do everything we can to make sure that you have a plan of what you want to do once you leave. Starting college and studying a subject that you are passionate about is exciting but it can be daunting too. We know how important it is to stay focused on your studies but recognise that life can get in the way sometimes.
That’s why we have a highly experienced Student Wellbeing Team to ensure you are able to cope with any obstacles life throws at you and to offer information and support. The team includes specialist wellbeing practitioners, Counsellors and nurses. The team are dedicated to listening and empowering you to resolve any challenges you might face to enable you to be as successful as possible at college and beyond.

Whether they live on campus in our Outstanding accommodation halls of residence, or travel in every day, Sparsholt College’s 183 hectacre campus has all the amenities to make our students feel at home, and to support them in their studies. Alongside use of College facilities such as the Fitness Suite and one-hectare lake, our students have access to a wide range of facilities dedicated to giving them the best student experience possible.

As part of our Level 3 courses in land-based subjects, full-time students aged 16-19 will complete a work placement with an industry-specific external employer or voluntary organisation. Students are expected to source a potential placement opportunity prior to the start of their course. Our Industry Placement team will be here to support and guide you from start to finish should you require their help.
